“I’m not a human, I’m a television producer.”

I’m obsessed with the show "So you think you can dance" on Fox.

It’s everything you’d want in a show: dramatic, suspenseful, sexy and all based on reality…actually, it’s just freakin’ hilarious.  Basically you have a co-ed group of talent-show drama-queens fulfilling out childhood dreams of becoming dancers – and you get to watch them crack under pressure on national television.  Even the panel of judges are melodramatic.  It’s fabulous!!  On top of it, some of them are freakin’ amazing dancers and you get to watch them learn choreography and dance – which is pretty cool.

The best scene of the night last night was when, Nigel Lythgoe, the show producer and one of the panel judges was reaming out the tired and injured bunch of contestants that have made it to the Las Vegas round, belittling them for complaining about being sick or injured and how normally, as a human, he would feel awful for them and care for them, but in this case:

"I’m not a human, I’m a television producer."

It was brilliant!! I can’t wait to use that one at work, "I’m not a human, I’m a Program Manager!"
